I know that NF would be out of the question but can you do thid or molvik solo without a bot and not just be a rp cow for everyone else ?

with the new buff npc's yes. I don't even load my bot from 1-49 anymore as there is no point. Granted with 25% to buff bonus they will be slightly better at the higher levels but pve is easy mode in daoc anyways and the buffs are near what a bot will provide.

I haven't done a lot of testing but I think Molvik buffs are the exact same as a buffbot, otherwise like 3-5 points less. You don't need a bot for Molvik or any other BG's below that. NF buffs now give +140 rather than +155.

Are the actual bot buffs at 140 in nf? or are the npc buffs 140?

NPC buffs are 140, bot buffs are 155. I think he was just to state that the difference isn't so great at 50, and even less of a difference the lower down the BG chain you go.

I play mostly in Molvik, and a bit in Thid. Until recently I always used a bot. But now there are buff NPCs in the BGs I decided to unsub my bot account and see how I got on just relying on the buff NPCs. I'm down a few points in stats, as the buff NPCs aren't quite as good as a full buffbot. But it really doesn't seem to matter, I don't notice much difference. Plus, the NPC buffs survive a logout, which is very nice.

The only time I miss my buffbot is if I die inside the CK during a defence. But I carry some buff potions for that and they aren't too bad.

I've noticed that there's less and less buffbots parked at the PK or inside the CK as the days pass. I think more and more people are playing without a bot, which can only be a good thing for the game. The more the game can do to sever the reliance on buffbots and allow people to compete with just one account, the more subscribers will be willing to stay or return to the game.

It is definitely harder to kill scrubs now in Thid; no more 1-shotting casters and such (except maybe 2h perf). They're still relatively easy to kill if they don;t have a template, but you can see the differrence.

In the coming patch, thee are bots in Mularn, Ft Veldon, Audliten, Huginfel, and Ft Atla on Mid. The other realms have buff npc's at corresponding places. Plus, NF buffs survive porting to pve side. This last feature is also available ob live now.
