Just make a UI that has all this and call it good.

That ain't trolling at all ... I'd LOVE to see some if not all of it implemented ... the split buff/debuff would´n't be too hard to implement IMO

The split buffs/debuffs and the mail system are the only two things worth implementing in DAOC. The rest is unnecessary.

Even the mail system is sort of secondary. It's only really good use is transferring things between alts and house vaults work well for that.

The buff suggestion I really agree with, but the mail system is moot with a house. Now, transferring cash could be easier, as I think the house deed xfer deal does not work, right?

When the amount to be xferred is less than 5 plat or so, you still have an option. Correct me if I am wrong, you could just buy a bunch of the the most expensive in-house decoration ( a 250G chair I think ) and stick them in a house vault. Log on to your alt with permissions to modify interior decorations, snag the chairs, and sell them back to the in house store at full price. If the house deed thingy is not working, then at least create indoor decorations that cost 1, 5, and 20 plat.

I would like to see the window for choosing the amount of money changed. I would recommend a dialog box that has blanks for copper, silver, gold and plat where you fill in the amount after clicking on the blank box just like the Market Explorer has.

If everything on that picture was put into the game years ago, DAOC would be alot further along.

City of Heroes - April 27, 2004

Everquest 2 - November 8, 2004

World of Warcraft - November 23, 2004

Mythic gave us Catacombs (December 7, 2004) - Added 5 new classes (Heretic; Vampiir, Bainshee; Warlock, Valkyrie), instanced dungeons (where players entering certain areas get their own private dungeon to hunt in), and new zones and quests with an emphasis on faster and easier leveling. Also includes new player model graphics and new graphics for all the games' dungeons.

The above 3 MMOs smoothness of game play, collision detail, response time and graphic engine shows the technology was there. Just shows how much Mythic cared about their product. Oh and before you say it, EA didn't step in untill 2006.

People that think like you cause games to not amounting to s#!t. With your IQ, you should be a DeV for EA/Mythic.

A diferent combat system should have put in as well as the over all tempo raised. The fwd speed of DAOC is simular to the backing up speed of MMOs like WoW & WaR. Half the time I would dose off from the slow pace. Most MMOs have mounts being the fasest means of travel. Not in DAOC. Unless you are a speed class or paying for a BB, you're moving at sleepy speeds.

Ten years and all EA/Mythic can provide is a website & a T-shirt? WTF?

I'd like to see most of this as well...what I really like is the built-in timer for the buffs/debuffs right on the icon...

Someone make the call and get this implemented will ya?

Only half of these ideas are good imo.

Good: Mail System, Battle Group Display (needs to be smaller not that huge pos), Seperated Buff/Debuffs.

Bad: Roll System (would make housing worthless almost), Parties & BGs window (DAoC already covers the Party window.. aka LFG under group window, and really there isn't enough raids to keep using /who bg and if u can't type /bg join ur lazy).
