Yellow d/q with 25% buff bonus never capped before, I wanna say I was -1 off from cap, I can't recall now. The new spell, I'm capped, again, I suppose this is in relation to them making the delve 2 points higher now. As for s/c buff, using yellow before I was -3 off from cap using 25%BB. Now I'm -6. I was 152 fully buffed, now 149. So previously it was not a major issue to use yellow specs in the group cause -1 and -3 wasn't a huge deal. But I fear -6 is more an issue than the -3 was. Furthermore, if you're gonna cap yellow specs, then it should be across the board, not just 1 spell. I feel Mythic has forced me to use the Level 44 spell just to ensure I and others have the best possible s/c buff out. Yes, previously it was Level 46, but as I just said, losing only 3 off cap wasn't a huge deal as compared to losing 6 IMO.

Hibernia currently has 147 con/str on the yellow buff, doesn't have the easy specs mid has on shaman to get@ 44 buff (hello, 44/15/27, hello 44/31 while Hib has to choose between red SC and a decent greater heal on their main healer).

Why is it always midgard who cries, even when they get improved ?

Incorrect. Shaman yellow s/c with capped buff bonus before the patch was 88/93, it is now 87/93. The most important thing is that you get capping field d/q which matters a lot for dex break points. Shaman yellow d/q with capped buff bonus was 90/93, and is now 93/93. It's a trade of 1 s/c for 3 d/q.

One other thing, you made this post out of the perceived notion that it is 3 less (even though it's actually 1). If you're not aware, Druid yellow s/c was 85/93 for years, or 3 less than the pre-patch Shaman yellow s/c (88/93). Yet you never brought up that inequity even though it existed for years. Pretty hypocritical imo~

The numbers are based on buffing a level 50 player.

this is a huge love for midgard. the not capping dex/quic buff was a big problem after getting sheared. you did not reach the same break point without wasting extra points in dexterity.

and as a tank it does not matter that your str/con was nerved a little bit. you should use caped buffbot buffs (which now also got more conz because you can buff yellow instead of red dex/qui) or charges for str/kon in any way.

Capping dex/qui is ridiculously more important than str/con.

A few more hp only matters if you are on the threshold of dying.
For melee, you can pretty much trade the qui that you gained and needed for swing speed for the str that you lost.

On the other hand because of casting mechanics being what they are hitting the target threshold for the next integer rounding point makes the inter-realm balance between those dex stats much more meaningful.

So overall, if you were specing for red str/con you gained , if you were specing for red dex/qui you gained, and if you were specing for yellow of both you traded.

This.

Str/con being 6 pts low won't lose you a fight. Dex being just 1 pt lower than the casting breakpoints can however.
