Pre level 10? Do you realize they revamped leveling from 1>50? It is actually fun again because it basically forces you to group up and meet new people.

I've had more fun leveling toons for BG's and stuff over the past month then I've had in a long while. I think I've leveled up about 6 or 7 toons to Molv/CV, and I don't even play that much.

For those saying no loyalty bonus cuz they needs rps on lists to be awesome.


Obviously the concept didn't get to you. If someone is realm hopping mmmkay, they already have lower rps on each toon, they gain 20k on that toon, oo albs winning they ghet 20k on that toon blah blah blah. Anyways, if the bonus went into effect, the only people that would be effected are already at the top of those lists because they stick with one character. You don't realize it, but you are already penalizing yourself because you switch so much.


The only way I see a loyalty bonus going into effect is if it is location based. If you step into Laby, DF, or NF, then you forfeit your bonus. However playing in the BGs, classic or any other content, you'd keep your loyalty bonus. This way, you are getting 90% of the content of each realm if you choose to play all three. The minute you step into an area that has the chance of effecting RvR, you will lose your benefits.

If you whine about that, then you clearly just don't want it to happen because you're a realm hopping dickbag, not cuz you cant has content.


Even if they had multiple servers again...cmon really? You are really going to level up on all three realm to lvl 50 rvr so you can fight in a completely different environment? So you'd switch to another realm not knowing that they are winning or losing or whatever? And since the herald is down there's no way to check before you go online. I mean I played all three realm back in the day...got a couple 50s in each, never really played em after that, too much work to keep all three realms updated, nowadays though I'd imagine it's pretty easy.

I'd love to see some people claiming its because of content get three new separate servers. Cuz when they suck on alb they could go to mid and whine because mid sucks on that server etc. If it's for content, my solution will be enough for you. If you enjoy the endgame content, and want the bonuses, play one realm, or tough shit.

Back when Classic was 3 separate servers I had no problem having toons in each realm, keeping their gear semi updated, and gaining them RP's.

I don't see any reason why there should be a loyalty bonus. I understand your logic, but there is no way I could see Mythic being able to code the bonus to work via what zones and crap you are in.

There has not been one valid reason on why anyone should get special treatment just because they stick to one realm. If you want to only enjoy 1/3 of the game so be it. It isn't our fault you are limiting your experience of DAoC, and there is no reason you should get a reward on top of that.

I mean you act like there are hundreds of players that only play the dominate realm with the relics. Do some? Sure. Do tons? Doubtful.

Look at the top RP earners during last week when Hibs mostly had 5-6 relics. There is no evidence that shows that Hib's have more relic bandwagoners.

I play all 3 realms in DAoC right now. I don't relic hop. I play whatever toon me and my buddies feel like playing. Hell my main used to be my Ranger, but I haven't touched it in weeks even though Hib has dominated the Relics as of late. I've mostly been on my Minst, Valk, or BD.

Just because people play 2 or 3 realms doesn't mean they are xrealmers or whatever you want to classify them as. People play what they want. Since Ywain is only 1 server left there should be NO REASON anyone should get bonuses or penalties for playing multiple realms.

A new class would probably go a long ways for each realm. We all know that new classes are op'd at the beginning since they don't know how to balance them and usually give them all the toys they want.

I would love to see some sort of tank/dps for alb/hib and maybe another hybrid for mid.

This will probably not happen however.

Missed my point, I know people will spend it (paid 180 myself)

but due to the amount of plat it costs, it causes people to go to gold selling sites which is exactly what EA/Mythic/Bioware or whatever are trying to cut out (hence most things can be obtained pretty easy now, more gold per player kills, more gold from quests etc)

Sorry but another new class is about the last thing this game needs. What might be interesting (and balancing) would be start talking about "traitor" versions of existing classes that reside in other realms. But no. No more alts. Sick of alts.

It's more fun to climb the mountain not to run stairs.
