How is it unfair?

You get to choose if you want the bonus. If you want the extra rps from it stay on one realm for an extended amount of time. Simple choice really.


Bringing up clusters is a moot point, they have been around for 5+ years. It's really the lesser of two evils, continue to deal with all the relic hoppers or give a bonus to those who stay on one realm.

The time could be quite long, a week at the least so it wouldn't be scores of people who benefit from it. As opposed to 5 mins to another realm for relic bonuses.

There are people who just play all 3 realms for fun yes but there are also others who always want to have a sizable advantage and will go to whatever realm makes it easier for them. The amount of people who do this is noticeable and has an effect on rvr.


You say its a petalty to give a loyalty bonus,what would you call when a realm loses its relic and part of their population goes to the winning size to farm them now?

The guild i used to belong to had this problem,when times were good the guild would go out and rvr as a guild but the moment things went bad they hopped to the other side and all of a sudden you have just a few members,not even enough to form a FG trying to rvr and forced to find pug groups and try to compete versus bigger numbers with the added advantage of a relic bonus.How fair is that to those who choose not to go?

The opportunity to get the extra points is given equally. If you choose to take advantage of the bonus...you take it.

By your logic, everyone who chooses not to guild their toons is also being penalized because they can't take advantage of the guild bonus'

Should you not do the darkness falls quests, you're being penalized because you aren't getting those extra rps for completing the kill tasks.

The changes done to the game last patch were a huge step forward... it's been not even two months... keep it in your pants.

Then wtf is the point of the "loyalty" bonus if you wanna talk about being an RP meth addict? And 300 RP's is a pretty big chunk of RP difference when you factor in a bunch of kills.

Anyone can choose to join or not to join a guild. Anyone can choose to run to DF to pick up the kill quest. Either of those options aren't affecting the way they "enjoy" playing the game.

Forcing me to stick to one realm to get a special RP bonus or whatever is affecting the way I play the game since I basically have to forfeit my other realms toons.

I can still freely play any realm and get those bonuses you mentioned.

It is called the state of the game, as it has always been. Man I started this game on Lancelot/Hib. It was by far the most lopsided realm of all the servers considering Albs had twice our numbers online at any given time.

I mean you act like preYwain or clustering that this crap didn't happen. Player A has albs on Nimue... they lose their relics so they jump on their Mids on Merlin who has relics... Mid/Merlin loses their relics so they jump on their Hib's on Bors who has 4 relics, etc etc etc. Only difference is now instead of individual server imbalances we are left with one single server.

I think that any efforts to stop realm hopping would largely be wasted. I admittedly don't have any proof to support this, but I'm fairly sure that the number of people who change realms based on relics is significantly smaller than the number of people who simply rvr more when their realm has relics and pve when it doesn't.

I know this is mythic. But does anyone else feel like this is a little weaksause? The 10th year patch had a lot of text but the only real content was in pre level 10. Some Hib love, I guess. And the only things game-changing were the bugs.


Knowing mythic I should expect less. Being a consumer though, I do expect more.
