Not sure I follow, you can interrupt but he will still finish the cast so you will still be mezzed right? I think that is what I am saying that no matter what you do, the spell will still go off and you will be mezzed. Or are you saying if I hit them in the first 1.5 sec of spell it will be interrupted and the spell will stop?

I'm seriously not trying to argue that they cannot be interrupted, I hope that it can be. It's just I have fought them and read the spell notes and it seems no matter what you do their single target mez still goes off.

minst flute mez is a song, can be casted then you run outside of its spell range, it will not fire but then pulse, and once in range it will land.

that's why many think that it is uninterpretable

The Mess song was specifically left out of the boost that made all other songs uninterruptible, for obvious reasons. I believe this was the same change that gave us dual songs/chants, if you want to look it up.

As others say, if you're at a certain point of casting any spell, you can't be interrupted and that's how Flute Mess works too.

Things to know about Minstrel Mez:

1. If the song is started in range and you run out of range, the song will continue to pulse until you are back in range or until the minstrel unequips his instrument.
2. As long as the minstrel is not interrupted and the target is in view, the minstrel can flute mez while mesmerized. It will land as soon as the minstrel is out of mez. This cannot be done while stunned.
3. The minstrel does not need line of sight to start a flute mez, the target only needs to be in front of the minstrel. The minstrel does, however, need line of sight to land the mez.
4. There is a very small chance that flute mez will continue to cast, even if interrupted. (I have a lone enforcer minstrel, and I have only had this happen once. I have also only had this happen to me once while fighting a minstrel on my skald.)
5. Amnesia does not interrupt or 'stop' minstrel flute mez. It does still interrupt, however, if the amnesia spell is resisted.
