Actually I beg to differ. There is a clearly a pattern established from the beginning of Mythic doing precisely that. They've used a difficult balancing act of dex, spell delve, spell damage, etc from day one, with interesting and sometimes less than successful results. There are plenty of examples, heal classes with low dex and high delve speed spec heals & shears, for instance. Also low dex and slow delve wisps and low level LT making up for strong backloading damage from the animist you mentioned. While I would love more speed on my wisps on my animist I would have to admit I think it would hurt the class by making that aspect of it too powerful.

Seriously? 10 dex? That's hardly a major deficiency. Can we please stop homogenizing the game over trivialities.

Ahh what? I'm suggesting a bit more variation based on what each class and realm needs rather than everyone getting 2.0 (except ments for some reason), and you say I'm the one asking for homegenisation? Why do you think I made the post in the first place? I'm trying to highlight the need for more thought and less from-the-hip modification that mythic seem hell bent on making lately.


Personally I don't seriously care if Runies have the same cast speed as sorcs on their spell, but I just thought I would mention that they do have some deficiencies in that regard, out of a sense of fairness. Jump on that if you will as supposedly invalidating my arguments, but that doen't change the fact that it's still true.


For me the main issue is that the realm having to contend with the most pet spam, and lacks an effective pet spamming class of it's own is getting the worst deal, yet again, in changes to a spell most effective for fighting said spam, ie ments totally forgotten and bards still with 1350 range instead of 1500.
