joking aside, changes don't come to DAoC often enough for a year place someone so far out of the loop that they don't know what they are talking about. Don't shun him because you think his opinions are horrible or you just don't agree with them, enjoy the fact that you get to debate them. Without debate there can be no progress.
Maybe this year will be different, but no reason he can't post here because he still likes the game.
However I will say that your high expectations for DAoC are rather...well...high. Give it some time, you may see some of your changes, you might not. Don't give up on doac tho because its not all shiny and pretty, it's still the only MMO that will satisfy anyones lust for difficulty and that adrenaline rush heart pumping hands shaking RvR experience that it gives you. You'll be back.....you can't resist the addiction!
