Well I sure hope it doesn't steal passwords because I'm using it for the quicklogin.
I hope so too!
Seriously, it doesn't steal passwords or do anything else malicious. People have been using it for about two years (including its earlier version, LaunchPad) and nobody has complained.
Mojo stores passwords in encrypted form using the operating system's kernel-mode encryption system. This is the same method used by Google Chrome. I figured the people at Google know a lot more about security than I do, and if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

I would update it more often if it got more feedback from players -- hardly anybody ever mentions to me that they are using it.
From the other thread, I've got the impression this is sorted out now. Is that right?

"I just published a new build (24) that forces the display of hidden files in the selection window. There's only a small chance that this is the problem, but if it is, the new build will fix it.
To upgrade to the new build, close Mojo and restart it."
You are a god among men! This worked, not a single problem with it. If only everyone was as responsive and helpful as you are.
Thank you so much!

Heheh. I've been a programmer for almost 30 years, and along the way there have been some compliments, but this breaks all records.

Great, so now we know that the cause of the problem was probably that your game.dll was marked "hidden."
In build 25, I replaced the fix you're talking about with a different fix, a new window... maybe I should put the original window back now.

Not so sure that was the problem. I know for a fact mine wasn't hidden, and I was able to replicate the problem he was having, but with no level of accuracy. When I was trying to figure out what he was talking about at first, it happened to me a couple times going through the process, hence why I posted what I did about it not being there. Sometimes the only things that would show in the folder were html links to mythic pages, no folders etc. Other times it would be just folders with no game files.
Not sure if any of this info will help, and have no clue what would be causing the problem, I haven't tried to replicate it since.

Did you do anything special to make the problem appear? Or did you just use the window normally and randomly see missing files?

Randomly it would change for some reason. I'd open the dialog window to find the file, and as I said I had no accuracy of testing, but once in a while it would go missing. Or other things were showing while others weren't
