I love mojo... but it's loading daoc as 1.109 instead of 1.110

It's the only way I can get to play daoc for longer than an hour without memory heaping out

I would update it more often if it got more feedback from players -- hardly anybody ever mentions to me that they are using it.

From the other thread, I've got the impression this is sorted out now. Is that right?

I never heard of your program until today. Must say it makes logging in much easier.

I use it. Love it in fact.

As for the heap issue, you could just edit the game.dll file with a cff reader edit the file header, and under characteristics/meaning check the box that reads "App can handle >2gb address space".

might be against the EULA or whatever but....I'd prefer not to crash for something as stupid as this.

Yep, but it's easier with Mojo because Mojo will keep making this fix automatically each time you patch.

Technically, I think it probably violates section 2D of the EUALA, but I don't think that rule was intended to apply to this sort of thing. In this case, only one bit in a huge file is changed, and it has no effect on game play, and the only purpose is to avoid a bug. I can't imagine Mythic punishing people for taking steps to avoid a bug that Mythic has been unable to fix.

Didn't know it did that, good to know. Though sometimes I still log in via patcher if I don't know where a toon is/haven't added it yet, or create a new one.

But yeah one of my fav daoc apps to date. Toon management is a must for me and this helps a ton. I've been using it for quite some time and have no complaints.

Thanks a lot for creating this utility, I have looked around for something like this ever since returning to the game this summer.

Let's hope it will still work after today's patch. I just woke up and now I'm waiting for the EA monkeys to stop flinging excrement onto us and let us log in. Haven't read much about the new patch but I'm always a bit wary when they "patch" anything...

Oh i figured out what was wrong...

For some reason... the game.laa.dll was 1.109, but the game.dll was 1.110, and mojo wasn't updating game.laa.dll?...

I just had to delete game.laa.dll and mojo created a new one which was up to date... (guessing it's a copy of game.dll which gets the 2gb flag changed.

Dunno if it's some dodgey win7 permission problem stopping mojo from overwriting the existing game.laa.dll or something but yeah sorted now.

Thanks!
