The cc in todays daoc is waaaaay outa hand in comparison to immunity timers, at least in bg's. I haven't even played my 50's yet, but if the current bg's are any indication of how NF rvr is, I doubt I will. Tonights daoc experience:
1. Log into CV on my savage. Have a couple of decent runs with 2fg vs 2fg. Groups split, Albs make a caster group, I stand around mezzed for the next 3 fights. With purge, golm. Initial mez lands, warp drops, wait that one out, move into the retreat and extend albs, just to get mezzed again.....And when the healer left, omg, time to log outa CV.
2. Go to thid with my skald. Run around a bit getting decent fights, then a hib group forms with a bard, druid, vw, and menty(i think). Dive into fight, interrupting the bard so I'm not standing around mezzed, kill the luri caster, bard gets loose and mezzes me. Stand around waiting for that to drop. Get back into fight, rooted, standing around watching fight, just out of interrupt range, root wears off, charge back in to intrrupt bard, again, peeling vw, and BANG.....mezzed again.....seriously?....
The gear in the game allows for longer fights, obviously, which is great! The CC immunity timer is redicoulous......I realize there's no support for this game anymore, and I havent' played in 5 years, but it's hard to believe the community let it get this bad without screaming for changes.

As a properly speced savage you shouldn't be mezzed for more than a couple of seconds because of det+stoi.
As anything else you shouldn't be mezzed for more than a couple of seconds because you should get a demezz.
Second-round mezzes after the initial immunity has dropped can be powerfull if done well, but then again, you're a savage - you shouldn't be mezzed.
Just grab determination 8-9 and those one minute mezzes will last probably 7-8 seconds or so.
Take a look at any video with a decent group playing and see how long they stay mezzed.
CC in thid (and below) has allways been very unbalanced because people can't get the counters yet at that point.

Stop being a QQ noob.
Your savage will eventually have charge and purge on short timers. Then you can pewpew any caster in existence. Stop being an impatient WoW crybaby and seriously learn your class before posting these rants on public forums.

Sorc ST mezz will be 11 or 12 seconds with 25% duration (which anyone good has) on a Kobold Savage with capped energy and cl resists. But I agree that it should get cured quickly, usually it's coordinating roots and usage of ichor to reset immunity that will keep melee off targets for prolonged periods.
