I have played assasins in all 3 realms along with archers in all 3 realms. I believe that the slight decrease in the nightshade magic spells was justified in the patch, but I don't believe that the class is any more over powered than infiltrators or shadowblades. If anything I believe the critical strike line for all assasins is underpowered.
For years nightshades were the least capable of the assasin classes. They have fewer spec points than infiltrators and cannot use 2 hand swords or axes for PA like shadowblades. Until celts were allowed to be nightshades blade shades required a great deal of aug str to be effective because keens and elves are not races that start with alot of strength. My infiltrator and shadowblade both have more hit points than any of my nightshades. My norse shadowblade has lower dex and evades less, but she hits for a ton. My infiltrator is as good as any of my shades. This whole post is extremely dangerous because it is the kind of thread that someone might just take seriously.

The only thing I can think off is that NS cockroaches don't want to live without insta-wins.
They need to allow trolls to be Shadowblades and dwarves to become Bonedancers.

I don't keep SS's of everything I kill anyway
It was of no achievement to me, just another kill - why would I SS it?
I also have no reason to lie, a hunter is extremely strong at 50 in RvR, you're just too ignorant to see it cause you can't kill 1 class~
