Returning after a few years, but was still surprised that i could do a /dance in the BG's {(at Usmcvammp)<--- "old school player i'm sure...."} at the enemy realm. He /danced back and left me alone. The next time i danced at Blygh, sat down and he killed me, which is within his right. My question is, how many old timers will still respect the /dance and how many could care less....

point well taken, but this was in lion's den and they con'ed red to me. I
know 50 rvr rules are different, and within the higher bg's, but respect at times was still given... is it a just a crap shoot where I just get lucky at times?

In BGs they get quest to kill enemy players. I think if they're in a hurry to level they kill whatever they can find. But Lion's Den gives very crappy xp compared to every BG after that...I suggest doing the tutorial quests, they give you level 10 in 45 minutes..

So then the answer is no, players don't know anything about emotes and most have a red=dead mentality so don't expect any quarter because you /dance with someone.

Buff is above reading threads.

This thread is now about the XP in Lion's Den vs. BG's.

I mean, it does. People have no respect for /dance cause of the quest and faster lvling. It does.
