I started playing right at release, quit in 2004 and I've been trying to get access to my accounts again because the game is my favourite MMO ever and it seems to still be alive and kicking.

I had issues getting the account info I had lost from Support but I got that now. The problem I have now is linking my accounts to the EA account. To me, a returning player, the whole thing seems ridiculously complex.
You have EA account, Mythic accounts, Master Mythic accounts, you have to link them all, aaaaaarrrgghhhh!

Ok, so I have 2 accounts, and both seem to be Game accounts AND Master Mythic accounts? Support has reset all 4 passwords, different for each type of account. I try linking the accounts on this page: https://accounts.eamythic.com/master/account/link but it doesn't work, it always says the account name or password is not correct. Every time I contact Support they don't directly answer my questions, instead they send me links that don't help me one bit or they just reset my passwords again.

Could you guys just please explain how it works to me, give me some advice and guide me through this? I'd really love to play all my characters again.

Your user name will no longer be the account name it will be your email associated with the accounts, along with whatever password you have chosen. Once you make it onto the account management you'll need to link all your accounts to the master account. A drop down box at the top of the page will let you scroll through each game account you own.

Since you haven't played in 90 day you'll receive 2 weeks of free play on each account. Maybe this will help if it doesn't post again I'm sure someone here can help you.

Exactly the problem that I am facing. I linked one of my game account to the EA account. However, I forgot the game account password, no secret word as I have never used it. There is no forget-password feature for game password. Email converstion with CS but didn't help much, they kept sending me link to reset my EA account password.


What can I do, lol.

You will have to use phone support unfortunately. They are the only ones authorized to do anything about your game account password according to an email exchange I had with support when I reactivated.

I don't have the secret word so I don't know how to prove my identity on the phone. If doing this by email, at least they can reset my password and send me the change password link thru the email that is associated to the EA account. If they are willing to...

This may be a long shot but do you still have the original disks with the cd key? Also if you still use your old email address that might work, especially if you never changed the email tied to the account.

Email hasn't been changed since day 1. The very original box was threw away a long time ago, but I still have the key for Epic Edition which was the last expansion I purchased. Hopefully I did not activate that key to my bot account instead.


So, you still recommend me to call them?

Unless you have a habit of reusing passwords and can guess yours, it's probably your best bet.

I faced the same issue for my 2 accounts...Master account what??? I knew my DAOC account logon names and the email addresses registered with those accounts but NO IDEA what the passwords were. I gave them a call 650) 628-1001. Phone support hours are 10:00 AM through 10:00 PM eastern time, 7 days a week.

Spent some time with John on the phone and he was able to find both accounts, reset my DAOC account logon passwords, linked them both to the EA Master Account, got them both recognized in the Subscription tab. I then just re-activated both for 3 months, hope it was all worth it, reading mad to catch up on all that's new since 2004

I finally managed to link my accounts but I had to use a different method. Instead of linking them all at the same time on the "Link Account" tab I went to the EA login page and logged in both my Master accounts 1 by 1 using the feature at the bottom of the page. Using that option you can link them more easily and individually.

Phew ! Took me a few days to get access to my account and the game but I finally did it. I was very surprised to see that I can run both accounts at the same time with max graphics on my shitty laptop when back in 2003 I needed a mega computer for that. xD

Wow, is Gaheris dead? Whenever I log on there is no one at all (however I do play from Europe).





I did it all by email and it went ok. Support answer quite fast but they are not very flexible or talkative. I did not have the account names, passwords or secret word at first. I managed to provide enough info by giving them almost every character on the account (class, race, server, level), name, DoB, approximative IP address of account creation, approximative account creation date and by guessing the secret words. They then gave me account names and reset the passwords and secret words.
Try and give them such info, it might help.
