Faction at Malm |

Some of my chars when accepted the quest from the svart at Malm, the faction immediately had turned to friendly. However, some of my other chars would stay aggressive. The difference between the two were only 1 quest (lvl50) was given for friendly, and 2 quests (lvl35 + lvl50) were given when stays agressive. Anyone have a clue?

I wish I become friendly in malm from the quest. On all the chars I have done it on they become neutral which sucks because you cant use the portal out of there.

The Common Ground quest given at the bind stone at 35 (I think) resets your aggressive status to neutral. All other quests only give an increase to faction, so will take several to get you from aggressive to neutral to friendly.

Get a foil hat and a buddy with group port. Run the repeatable quest to give some npc a letter in aegirhamn. Takes less than 10 minutes total to reach friendly faction.

This. The foil hat comes from "Saving Zarees" quest. For friendly faction you need to get the quest named "The Road to Svarhamr" given by an NPC named Kiaja. She's inside the hut where the grumpy channeller is. You need to redo the quest 10 times, 15 if you ever killed a Svartalf.

Also if you keep repeating the faction quests beyond the friendly point somewhat, there is a portal stone you can buy from one of the merchants for 1 plat that will port you to the dragon town - on a 5 min timer.

You dont need friendly to get the gear, just do 1 kill 5 mob quests and your neutral to go into the city. Turn in your tokens and voila you got your dragon gear without the grind of getting faction to friendly

My toon has never killed a svart. The faction becomes friendly once I accepted the first quest from the guy at bind stone

Used to be that Neutral would not let you use the porter, speed, etc. Did that change?
