I think the point is that if the PvE rewards were a little better, and people didn't simply go there to turn in DF quests or buy diamond seal gear for salvaging, it would add some incentive for it to switch hands more regularly.

Bounty point gear made aurulite gear irrelevant
bounty point quests made lots of PvE irrelevant
glass quests made plat irrelevant
on and on and on and on

But I am all for making it somewhat more relevant, like 500% xp/coin bonus! Bring back some damn mob grinding instead of all this quest grinding.

Though I will say DAoC community lately reminds me of that scene in Plains, Trains, and Automobiles. DAoC community is Steve Martin. DAoC is John Candy. And DAoC CSRs/Devs are the car rental services lady behind the desk.

I agree with your post. I just wish they could make similar items drop in here. Maybe make df a good place to farm, like summoners hall is as well as ml 10 and si dungeon (sidi, tg, and w/e hib has)
