Well after an 8 year hiatus, I reactivated DAoC last night.

I transferred my characters to Ywain, but have no idea what to do now and no guild members to talk to. Obviously there's NF, but I see people on here talking about dragon armor? Are they referring to the old dragon raids from back in the day? And also someone was telling me in game that you could turn in a coin now for a Master Level (TOA)? How does that work? What are champ levels?

And are there any guilds that would be willing to accept another? I have a feeling that i'll have to re-work the templates on my chars. But I can offer my services of a RR5+ Druid, Bard, Eld, and Vamp.

Thanks!

You mean to tell me...that in 2 years (from 2001ish-2004ish) that you managed to not only get 50 on multiple toons, but got them RR5+ as well?

Man....wtf was I doing?

Basically, you head to Stygia Delta, and by the northern exit of the town there's a guy who offers 4 quests - all of these are kill quests which has you kill scarabs/Crazed lions/Iaculus'/Crocodiles, they are easy to solo and reward you with glass and gold. You should really try to find a decent guild though, put a thread up on the Ywain forums or do /who and ask around. Things become way easier when you've got a few seasoned people helping you out.

Thanks! I'll go do that now.

Lol. The fin groups proved to be nice back then. The druid was my main. So after I got my ML's on that I PL'd my Animist (2nd account that I lost) and then PL'd a few more of my chars. Having a druid with a power font (was called that back then) and an Animist it was just plug and play. I put a quarter in the keyboard to keep casting shrooms and went afk (back then there was no cap on shrooms). Then after work I ran gank groups with some of the finest player's I've ever seen. That's how I was able to get multiple 50's and RR's in no time.

Sucks now though, because I know no-one. And no-one wants to invite an outsider to an RvR group. I couldnt even get an invite to a zerg group tonight. Pretty pitiful...

Hang in there bud, it's not all doom an gloom as it might seem at the current time. Give yourself some time to get back in the groove, get your skills dusted off and ready to roll and you'll be back in no time at all. for the glass quests in green glades, capt chrys is one of the quest givers for the glass quests, the other one is over by a big pine tree near where the centaurs hang out, she looks like a djinn, I think.

The other ones in volcanus are from Algmar and a djinn looking lady near the shades of mist quest, near the a big boulder, surrounded by dead looking tree's. Not sure on the stygia quests, havent' been over there to check out who is the quest givers, as I usually tend to do the volcanus ones with a bot in tow; usually has less traffic going on over there.
