Can someone confirm if these break points do or do not change when cast speed is not 10%?

some change, some don't, doorknob. I believe I posted some with 9% spd for my thane, a while back.

I did testing for my Molvik RM with 7% cast speed. Since i mainly use 2.0 and 2.6 spells i tested these mostly. I looked at 3.0 speed a bit too.

for 2.0 and 2.6 spd i found I only need 302 dex. the next breakpoint was above 330.

for 3.0 it was like 318 dex.

I plan to find the level 49 (9%) dex breaks for all of us Cathal players on my next day off. I'll post my results in this thread. Someone feel free to beat me to it...

From my previous testing 9% castspeed seemed to move the break very little, like 4-6 dex mostly - as Slajzer pointed out its very easy to test for your own characters as it usually really is noticeable when you hit one.

The 3.0 spd break 338 was around 343 with 9% castspeed and I did a 1000 casts to verify - since then I just do the quick and dirty variant though (its just so much work).

omg, 1,000 casts!

I do 20 casts for my tests. If the total time is off by .5 sec or more from previous one I redo test to make sure it wasn't my error or a new break point. My tests are generally within .2 either way and a breakpoint change is over 1 second difference, so it's pretty easy to know if you hitting a break point or mistiming.

Well you can't really post anything on VN w/o proper testing or someone instantly zooms in on the fact that it was just 10, or a 100 casts etc.

It's not too bad to do when setup proper.

Yould you belive a researcher that had 10 ppl as test subjects and then made a conclusion? "Aid is now extinct! i asked 10 ppl and none had aids!"

It's been two years, and you're still posting in this thread, and you're still an idiot.
