It works, but it does not go above 50 as it does in PvE.

It does help. and it does go over level 50. In certain situations, on high level spells or with lots of mastery of focus, + GFM you can actually create a 0% resist chance vs a level 50.
I maintain that realm rank does have an affect. It seems there is a level check AND a realm rank check in resist tables. Just my observation.

Does the Dragon Intellect Myth (+3 to mythical spell increase) allow you to break the lvl 50 cap in RvR for resist purposes?

imho the mith doesnt work like mof... mof increase the lvl of the spell (till 50), the myt increase the % hit rate (so you can't say "it breaks the lvl 50 cap" 
with any of my caster + greater focal I never get resisted (like 1% on high lvl dd, a bit more on low level spells like stat debuff) (PVP)

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll probably invest in MoF 2 + focal Myth. The problem is mainly PvE though and theren't many situations that I've encountered where getting resisted will give me trouble (ie. raids).
My Theurg friend gets resisted so much though in RvR that he will definately get MoF!

Remember that in PvE mobs get immune to Mez if they take 10% dmg. And all CC is halved for every application.

I have invested 1 RP in MoF 1 and I bought an Average Focal Myth which increases the level of my spells by 4.
The difference is very very noticeable: yellow mobs almost never resist anymore, orange ones only sometimes and red ones much less.
Still haven't tested it in RvR though.
