Does the DAoC-TV work with windows 7 and if so how do I use it?

Best to use the VLC Media Player, also known as Videolan player.
Just start a movie with this player, alt-tab into DAoC, open the DAoC TV window and place it where the VLC player is on the desktop. Now you should see the played video inside the DAoC-TV window. You can resize it to fit your needs.
I use it mostly while crafting, do have something to keep me going when no one is online to tease =)
If the movie doesn't show up, there is a specific setting in the video mode of the VLC player, which i need to look for. I use an older version, because it runs well and that hasn't got the "features" the new one has. But if needed be I'll upload the one I use, or install myself the new one so I can tell you the setting if needed.

I have the same problem. I tried installing 3 times, everything else seemed to function just the char window was missing as stated above. Thanks for all your work though.
I had to press escape then go to UI options then click on summary I believe. I did this and mine showed up. This UI is amazing. The only thing that bugs me is I have multiple ghost windows. They look like my old mini group from ghost but there is more than one on some toons. I can't figure out how to get rid of them. Tried clicking on mini group and that brings up the current working one, but the random outlines from another mini group are still there.
This was it, works fine now thanks very much. I´ve only ever used Deridas until now and I was wondering if there is any chance of getting a "Realm Info" button (opend a window where you could see stuff like: realm ranks and titles (of all 3 realms), bg cap info etc.) and a "Keeps" button (who has which keep and which realm has DF) on the command bar? I am not trying to say you should copy Derida this UI has its own qualities, just two buttons I always found useful.

Titles and RPs
The overall Titles are in rework... this wasn't a textfile but a texture i have to redraw in the exact size.

Can't seem to get it to work. Does DAoC need to be in fullscreen or windows mode? I'm always in windows mode. Used VLC. Played around with options under the Video drop down menu.

It works windowed and fullscreen.
Which version of VLC do you use? Then I'll install that and look for the right setting for it.

Okai, installed and looked over the settings.
You press ctrl+p inside the vlc player. The Options/Settings window pops up. There you click left on "Video" ... the now open window on the right unhook Hardware conversion from YUV to RGB (i hope i did translate it correct) ... just unhook that setting and everything is fine.

Still didn't work. It may be a problem with Windows 7. I know bobs' wouldn't work with Windows Vista, so maybe it work for for 7 for the same reasons. I dunno. Not worried about it. Thanks for trying though.

Not true, I run W7. It's be cool of on the horseshoe bar for summary of it had percentages on the thing
