It's a binary file in a proprietary format. I'm surprised.
lol, wow me too. Why on Earth would anyone go through the trouble of making a proprietary binary format for a tool like GB?
Very odd, someone needs to read up on XML.
Although I can understand doing 'ini', CSV, or other plain-text formats just for simplicity's sake, but a binary format is very odd in this day and age.
Ah, here's what I wanted to respond to...
When I started with GB, it was written with a version of Delphi that was meant for the initial release of Windows 95. XML just didn't exist at the time and I wasn't good at writing text parsers, so I just took some of my old Turbo Pascal (for Dos! Lol) code for sending records to disk and used it all the way up until I upgraded to Turbo Delphi 2006(?). Since a lot of GearBunny code rests upon this old system, I just never quite moved away from it until GBx came around when I switched to zlib compressed custom text files.
So yeah, I did things old school

BUILD 65 -- HOTKEYS
Build 65 lets you define hotkeys that control Mojo and the operating system. This build offers only three kinds of hotkeys. More will be added later. The three kinds are:
-- A hotkey to turn Mojo's gamma on and off.
-- A hotkey that is like Alt-Tab except it shows only DAOC windows.
-- A hotkey to hide and show Mojo.
To add a hotkey, right click the white part of the panel and choose "Add hotkey" (red circle below):
A window will open (below). Select the type of hotkey from the dropdown list. Then click "Change" to choose the key combination that will trigger the hotkey.
The trigger window will open (below). Mojo's triggers can include as many keys as you want. For example, you can define a "chord" of several ordinary keys to trigger an action. And, for example, you can also tell Mojo that the trigger fires only when NumLock is on or only when it's off. For more information about triggers see the following page:
Mojo's hotkey triggers

BUILD 65 -- START DAOC NORMALLY
This build contains new menu items that let you start DAOC normally, by running the patcher, without launching a toon. To do this, click "DAOC" on the main menu. Then click "DAOC actions..." As shown in the red circle below, you can start either the regular client or the test server client.
Technical note: Up till now, Mojo's settings have been saved in human-readable files. Starting with this build, Mojo saves some of its settings in a database file. This is a more reliable way to store them.

BUILD 66 -- HOTKEYS
Two new hotkeys have beeen added as shown in blue below.
Each time you press "Toggle foreground game and minimize," the next DAOC comes to the foreground and the others get minimized.
"Toggle foreground game" is probably faster but it doesn't minimize the other windows. It simply moves them to the background.
Summary of hotkeys to date. New ones are blue.
• Hide/show Mojo
• Minimize foreground game
• Toggle foreground game
• Toggle foreground game and minimize
• Toggle gamma

BUILD 70 -- SPELLCRAFT
Abattior posted:
In the spell crafting window, where you are able to select gems manually, how about being able to select the piece macros as well ?
hands/feet/right hand/ 2hand etc.
This is now in build 70 (red circle in picture). Thanks for the suggestion!
Summary of Spellcraft features to date. New features in blue:
The Spellcraft window lets you do four main things:
• Import lists of gems from templates
• Create lists of gems by hand quickly
• Put those gems on quickbars automatically
• Display a list of required components
Mojo can place labels like "Arms" and "Feet" on your quickbar to identify each group of gems. It can take these labels automatically from template files, or you can add them to a gem list by clicking on Mojo's window.
Mojo can import gems from files or the clipboard. Mojo can read:
• Gearbunny .txt
• Korts .txt
• Korts .xml
• Loki .mmr
• Loki craft reports
• Loki build reports
• hand-typed text files

Here's an example of how you can use Mojo's hotkeys. Suppose you're playing two toons, a main and a bot, on one computer. You've got your DAOC windows stacked on top of each other like this. (I put the toons in different zones so the difference would be easy to see.)
Now you press the hotkey, and the background DAOC becomes active.
Press the hotkey again, and you go back to the first picture.
Each time you press the hotkey, you switch. It's like alt-tab except faster and just for DAOC.
If you have more DAOCs, the hotkey will toggle through all of them instead of just two.

How well does that work with full screen mode?

When DAOC is in "full screen mode" it's really in DirectX exclusive mode and this is impossible.
But you can do it another way.
On DAOC's Options window, select windowed mode and set the resolution to the same size as your monitor.
Then, each time you start DAOC, use Mojo's new hotkey, "Remove window frame from games." Build 72 or higher is required.
DAOC will look like it's in full screen mode but but you will be able to use a toggle hotkey.
