I absolutely loved the books, besides the waits in between them. I was presently surprised by the quality of the show(although HBO does not disappoint often). I also got the wall WAY different as well. I guess they were envisioning something a bit more epic than me.

Finally started book 5. About 1/4 of the way through and must say it isn't as disappointing as the 4th book. If the series lasts up to 4 and 5 they need to merge the books into one season because book 4 is blah.

Just remember what happens to main characters in the other books. Trend continues in Book 5, and for the same foolish reasons.
