So, who's playin TOR? It's pretty awesome so far. Plays more like Knights of the Old Republic than a MMO. Probably the first MMO where I've wanted to explore everywhere and talk to everyone for all the dialogue.
My guild got deployed to the Black Vulkars server.

waiting for my invite, didn't pre-order until October so it'll probably be tomorrow or Friday. Was in the last two beta weekends and the relation to KOTOR is pretty strong. If nothing else it'll be interesting enough to take each character through their own story arcs...maybe.

I also like that there's no autoattacking and most of the abilities look awesome. The combat feels much more active than your typical mmo. Haven't gotten a companion yet but looking forward to that.

companions are awesome, especially ones that compliment your class, having a healer companion if you're a tank or DPS is so nice.
Also, when you get your ship it is such a nice feeling.

I have heard so many mixed things about this game....although sad to admit I did see an advertisement taht piqued my curiousity. But won't be trying it, unless they do come out with a two week trial thingy.... From what I've heard about launch though that won't be for quite a while.

Yeah it's been very successful with preorders and the launch has been the smoothest I've encountered.
That said if you like Bioware games it's worth it. Did my first Flashpoint last night and the way they make it feel like a story-driven single player game despite the fact you've got 4 people running with you is kinda amazing.
