I was pretty excited when I talked to a dev about this 2 years ago at pax.
At this point I just want to hear that a beta is going to start sometime this year.

Warhammer makes me super sad when I look back on it. They had a lot of potential there and just slow pacing and general bugginess killed it.

I thin warhammer was ass because it tried to copy WoW too much. GW2 is definitely trying different things.

Also true.
Gear based PvP just doesn't work. DAOC pre TOA had it right all along.

I think game releases that start off bad give a game an undeserved reputation that is hard to change. Not always the case, though.
