A truly truly sad day.
I do not play on that server.. and I did not know this legendary elfslayer, Bruic. My thoughts are with him and his family, though - both in the game and real life.
A tribute to him and all who play this game, though. Our coming together truly represents that we are all friends behind these avatars, regardless of guild/realm/server. When the weapons are put aside, we're a bunch of folks that are out here to play and laugh.
I commend all of you on your sympathies, and on the event in Hadrian's Wall.

I know we play a game...but you can never replace good people :-(. I have never had the opportunity to play on Percival but what you guys did was truly heartfelt and brought tears to my eyes... Bruic Elfslayer you will be missed dearly... From all the people from Bors our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. This game has lost a hero today :-(. Rest in peace Bruic Elfslayer

My heart goes out to all that he has touched in life and in death.
His spirit is now assended to the heavens where he may watch over all that he loved. Watch in the corner of your eye, that shadow that seems to move, yes that one, there he his. He will never leave his friends nor his family, tis just easlier now for him to be in all places at once.

The tribute is one of the classiest things Ive ever seen done amongst a video game community. My thoughts and prayers are with Bruics family(both RL and Guild). It warms my heart to see that despite the occasional bickering most everyone in DAOC are just good, decent people.
