I think Earth Theurgist should have GTAOE ... perhaps a little higher damage than Earth Wizard's current GTAOE.

Too much gtae in the game as is. I'm sick of things implemented in the game whose sole purpose really is to interrupt casters.


Come up with something useful but more creative to help the class, please.

Hey I'm all for some sort of oringal spell idea.


Earth theurg get Earth Quake, simple spell that could act like a low level AOE spell around the caster, could cause like a root damage spell or a slow and damage spell, this would give the caster the ability to damage those coming to kill him and be able to run from danger.


Ice Could get a Blizzard spell of some sort, AoE attack spell.


Fix power issues with pets, make pets do something a bit more, hit harder so that when i lose 12% of my power i don't feel dirty after using it.

Another original spell (going along the Blizzard idea) would be an AE Nearsight spell called Blizzard. Its effect would not be nearly as bad as the NS in the game today. The NS we know today scales from 25% to 65% vision reduction and a 2300 range.


You can have Blizzard at 1500 range, with a 300 radius and it would dish out 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 35% vision reduction (depending on spec level). This would be a great tool used in siege warfare as it would hurt casters and archers on the walls if attacking or the ones on the ground if defending.


I’d like to see a GTAE DoT put into the Earth line as well. This would add a bit of spice to it, giving some AE Dmg.


Other classes in other realms that are moaning that their lines are broken and boring could get an equivalent of each of these, so as to keep the realms on equal footing.


This would help theurgists as long as other aspects of the earth and ice lines are fixed, such as pet utility and power cost.

Here are some ideas for the animist ...

eh-hem theurgist. Make our pets insta cast on a 4 sec timer. Yes I know you can throw them faster than that now but this way you could cast them while casting something else. Air would get a nice little boost from this. You would still need to fix ice pets so that their spells actully hit a lot more often. ice would be a good spec after this releasing nuking pets while you snare nuked sould be effective. Earth would still need some help. I would suggest giving them an added self ablative chant and a str con buff. That way they could front load damage with earth pets and base ice nuke, then finish with melee using the haste and damage add. PBT and ablative should let them get a few swings off while still contnueing to insta cast pets.

I don't understand this bitterness of theurgists toward animists. I mean, animists are even more broken in many ways than theurgists ... hell, at least your pets can move ...


Would you really wanna trade your theurgist in for an animist? At least you have one line that most people agree isn't gimped beyond repair.

Whoot 800 posts and growing lol. I just noticed actually that from the base group calling for help many more have come on board. Out of all of Albion (other than Arms) we are the only ones asking for some help. How long do you think this thread can get??

Theurgists are not holding anything against Animists themselves. Animists have done nothing wrong.


It’s the fact that for a year or so, many Theurgists posted ideas and thoughts on how to fix their class…improvements that Mythic could take to make the class fun, viable and diverse.


Then SI comes out and many many many of these improvements were taken by Mythic and made into a new class called the Animist. It has nothing to do with who is gimpier than who, as Animist clearly have their own problem.


Theurgists just see Animists as what were supposed to be the improvements to their class, or at least the brain power that went into them. And yes, if you take some of the Animists abilities and put them into different Theurgist spec lines, this would make a more fun and more viable character (don’t take them as is though, fix them first hehe).
