Although letting a dog continually piss on your furniture just because it is too stupid to learn any better is no reason to stop yelling at it when it does so. Pointless, perhaps. But better than being pissed on with absolutely no response; can't ignore piss-smell. Can drop-kick the pooch though, and maybe in time it'll find something else to pee on. If it doesn't, well, at least you got to retaliate.

I'll agree with Daigen. Ignoring the problem in this instance does not make it go away.


Both Solice and I can vouch for that. If anything, ignoring it makes it far, far worse.


You cannot be the bigger person with your dealings with her if she's decided you're her main target at the moment. You have to face what comes head on and not turn the other cheek - whether that's to have a face off with her in game (seen that and it didn't work) or get down on her level but make the situation more well-known to a larger audience as Daigen as done here.


It all comes down to who her main target is at the time. I'm sorry that it's you at the moment, Daigen.

Doesnt matter if you ignore her.. It still goes on.


I have dealt with this woman for near 2 years now. We used to be friends.. sisters even in game. Then things all went sour.


Ive tried ignoring her..didnt talk to her directly in game for a year or so. That didnt work.. things kept on happening. She went to my friends.. people i didnt even know.. and even my guild masters (More then one) and tried to charge me with harassment (Which was never ever proven.) There is no end to the things that seem to just *pop* up.


Hell.. they even brought things to these boards to and tried to bring up my RL.. when trying to ruin my in game life did not work. I am NOT the only one they have done this to.


Ive tried the in your face thing. Telling her exactly how I feel and to leave me alone.


That doesnt work either.


Ive even tried the forgive and forget thing.. which worked for awile.. till about a week later I got some disturbing emails in RL from said person.


I will be the first one to admit that I am a bitch. I am not perfect. I have been known to gossip and let gossip get to me. I agree that because of that.. I deserve some of the things that have been said about me but things going as far as they have is just plain wrong. You do not mess with someones RL because of a game. You just do NOT go there.


I need to apologize to Solice for the way I have acted to her in the past because of said person. I am VERY sorry. It was not her fault in any of this. Same goes for Daigen.


My point after all this? Doesnt matter what you do. Nothing works. Let people find out for themselves.

Funny part is that it works man. Like it or not, I have never encountered a single situation in which backing down from a bully would have fixed it.


In some ways it is kinda sad because they may just move on to the next weaker target but reality is that I take care of me and mine. The rest of the world then needs to take care of its business.

I DID see a Christmas Story -- I see it every year!


As a sidenote: Peter Whathisname lived next door to my grandmother here in Phoenix. I remember sitting at the pool with him -- by this time he was in college --and he looked EXACTLY the same as he did in Christmas Story.


I tried to convince him to beat the crap out of my annoying sister the way he did that bully, and he politely declined. Damn movie stars.

Here's something that's a brief aside that I find interesting:


The people who're telling Daigen to let it go nearly all play healing classes; myself, Jaera, Patience, Arctura. All the rest of you psychos are screaming for her bloodshed.


There must be some sort of deep, psychological insight to be gleaned there.

It is really a shame that there are so many people that are victims to Sasiah's cruelty. Makes you wonder why there is not some kind of rule for players who are constantly 'harrassing' other players to be banned from the game.

There is a rule about harassment I am pretty sure. The only thing is, it is tough to prove unless you have kept logs of it, and they might not always do it in game.

But if they prove it, I think you can get them banned from the server.
