Patreen: No, there really isn't that much of a difference. Maybe my standards of morality and yours are totally different, but I think that's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. If you know someone commited a crime and you still remain friends with them & cover for them, I don't think it's unreasonable to hold you partly accountable.


I'm just glad there aren't more people like you involved in our criminal justice system. "Well, I know you murdered someone, but that's okay. I didn't know about it beforehand, so I'll just ignore it."

What I said was entirely different than how you decided to flip it around. I _obviously_ wasn't talking about "aiding and abetting" (lol?) aka finding out after the fact and helping the person stay anonymous etc. You're not guilty by association at that point, you are guilty of something else therefore you're not guilty by association... you're just guilty

Chris/Tom are in school and didn't care enough about DAoC as any of the other members. The only person they'd ever even consider screwing over is Dalira because she scammed a buffbot they owned. And them touching Dalira is still highly unlikely, even given the opportunity. ESPECIALLY now - when DAoC means even less to them than it did before.

Basically you were abandoned by FRPs. Screwed up yes, I said back then and I'll say now that Tom/Chris were too lame to actually outright boot you; instead they gave you the silent treatment. Which, based on what you said about "Free Rps ruining competitive gaming for you" -- seems you were a bit upset about. If you know Chris and Tom then you'd KNOW that they joke about everything and anything. They've never taken DAoC seriously enough to drive them to delete your characters. Any sign of discontent towards anyone is usually followed by teasing and a "LOL." Never "god I hate this guy I wish I could scam him" or anything along those lines. Seems kind of odd that out of the blue, they'd decide to go from easy-going to scammers. Either they're really good at faking a personality (and if you know Chris/Tom they can't fake anything for the lives of them) or they didn't do it. I'm whole-heartedly convinced that DAoC doesn't mean anything to any of us. Along with that, you don't mean enough to anyone to go after and screw over (only person even remotely worthy of it, as stated above, is Dalira).


Who knows for a fact that all your characters were stripped and deleted? Just you and the CSR. Did anyone else log in to the empty account and see everything gone? Maybe Ash, that's about all I can think about. As for Yonek being on Kadorak's account the only thing I'm pissed at is how FRPs whored the account out to everyone. That type of crap got ryse banned as well. Idiots.


After Mordred you were sort of forgotten-about amongst us. We didn't stay in DAoC long after Mordred, but we did still talk on AIM/IRC a lot. Nothing was mentioned about you, ever. So what makes you think you were really important enough to any of them to actually go after and harm? In a game that lost all meaning to us months ago?


I'm not saying you are making this up, your characters may have actually gotten deleted - but not by the people you think it's by. Plain and simple no one in Free Rps cares about DAoC or you enough to make us install DAoC, download the patch upgrades, maybe download the housing patch (if your chars were in housing), strip your characters, delete them, then log on Kadorak's account to create the name Yonek. I will, however, blame Free Rps for giving Kadorak's account out. So yes, they were indirectly related to your scam incident because of the Kadorak incident -- but saying they deleted your characters firsthand out of spite is farfetched.

i never said anything about associating with or covering up for people. just that theres a difference between knowing who did something, and knowing beforehand and not doing something to prevent it. and theres a distinct difference between the two.
