First of all, I love these posts.


To answer your question about the 'odin' being on fire, it's really a joke that goes back to the game Worms: Armageddon. One of my worms was named Odin. One of my friends didn't know who Odin was, and decided to take a guess at it. He guessed a body part. Alas, dictionary.com proved him wrong. However, he didn't give up. He was, and to this day is, sure an Odin is a body part that no one can find. It's useless, much like the appendix. Also much like the appendix, it has the tendancy to burst. However, unlike the appendix which is simply filled with stuff that can kill you, the Odin spontaneously combusts. It can be quite painful. It could be cured, if anyone knew where the damn thing was.

However, VN doesn't let you put ' in your name, so some people think I'm talking about an odins. I go by Odin, Odins, or Moof.


A little about me.


I was born on a Full Moon September 18, 1986 in Greenville Memorial (South Carolina). The Maternity Ward was PACKED that night, little kids shootin' out of pregnant women left and right. The halls were lined with beds. Fortunately, I started a little earlier than the rest of those suckers, and got my mom to a hospital in time to snag a bed. She was a school teacher, but she took a 13 year sebatical to raise me. Personally, I think she did a great job, except she never gave me a lesson in 'not stroking my ego' every chance I got.


I'm a product of the public education system. I don't think it's as failed as people think, even here in Greenville, South Carolina. The state just dropped to number 50 in the nation, but we push our 7th graders to take the SAT, which hurts us some.


As some of you (most of you) probably know, I'm a Democrat (and proud of it ). I don't go along party lines on everything, and I'm a little biased for certain things from personal experience here in the south, but for the most part that's where I'd place myself. I voted for the first time last election, (though a blue vote in South Carolina REALLY doesnt determine a whole lot.)


But enough about politics. Like Ministry- said, I LOVE Hitchikers guide (though I'd like to have read them more. School's a bitch. I am gonna read the first book before the movie, for sure though). I'm also a HUGE Tarantino fan (English Mother[trucker], do you speak it???) I used to work at Circuit City, and I have a GINORMOUS stand up of Uma as The Bride where we had all the Kill Bill 2s.


Did I mention that Uma is hot as hell?


I've always been ambitious. I don't know what it is, but I've always held the highest of standards for myself. SOmetimes I've fallen short, but I've never been overly dissapointed. I usually learn something from the stupid stuff I do. Now, whether or not that something is "That was so much fun that I don't CARE about the reprocussions" or "Ouch. My ass is sore. I'm not doing THAT again".. )


I'm going to the University of South Carolina this fall semester (the Honors college). After doing some research, I found that it's actually a VERY good school if you go the Honors route. They were given the biggest grant in US history from the NSF to develope Hydrogen Fuel Cells. I plan on being a Math/Physics double major. Did I mention that I'm a masochist?


Yeah, I'm a youngin. I look younger than I am, (though my picture in my profile is about 3 years old. I gotta get a new one.) Every time I try and buy a lotto ticket they almost don't believe me .


I don't really drink (every now and again, but I'm a lightweight, and I don't like being hung over), I don't smoke. Currently I'm single. I've never been in a REAL relationship.I've always been more of a 'fling' kind of guy. I assume that will hold true through alot of college.


I hope to be a professor when I grow up. I'll probably do consulting on the side, because professors get terrible pay, and have a good amount of free time.


I love Classic Rock, and I love Punk Rock. Not really all that similar, but they are my favorite types of music. There's nothing better than seeing a local band in a small venue when the band totally rocks. Nothing.


The best show ever is Seinfeld, followed closely by the twilight zone.


Alas, my paragraphs are getting shorter and shorter, and I'm doing the thing I do when I run out of material and spacing each sentance over several lines. It makes my posts look like they have more substance and less BS. I've posted on ACF since it started (though I was more of a lurker/drifter from AC Gen to ACF). I started posting here full time when AC Gen stopped allowing OT posts.
