No i do not use a buff bot but yes I have asked for buffs but I die frequently enough, it don't make much difference.
If I ask for any buffs, it is jsut a HASTE buff, hit faster, for casters so they can't quick cast stun me.
I've had most best battles with rogues, some few good tank fights. With /duel coming in, I get to test more stuff and find a better strategy.
Lets not forget the orig infs that made me wnat 50, Tidus nad Xavory, the old good ones. I just wnated 50 to go toe to toe with them. But never got the chance.
Tidus showed me the hard way the use of Creeping Death, hehe

Last time I checked only hib casters have stun and the other realms that have stun are on cast or insta.

Solansen,Ucant and Hyde are definitely some shades that come to mind.
I find a special place in me heart for ucant, imscared and hiyaa (not 50 yet, but watch out!). The three used to scout for me and watch my back when I was leading stuff in bg3 with an alt (the bard...long dead). Don't know how many times I saw ucant catch an inf or SB about to nail me and buy me time to bail.
Infs/sb's...all i got to say is:
Lind is the only assassin that has ever hit me for 1000 damage before. He must have crit, but whatever...1000 damage (1024 to be exact) from a melee weapon warrants respect.

I don't understand all this whining about buff bots. I sometimes use a buffbot although he is only lvl 20, he does supply me with a slight edge i guess for the short period of time my back up computer will run the game without crashing. Let's just say for instance this buffbot was actually my friends char and he buffed himself and me and we set out to rvr and ran into another assasin.....this would be ok, right?......you would rather fight 2 ppl with buffs instead of me alone? Sorry, I just don't see the reasoning behind all this whining especially from other assasins. Most assasin vs. assasin battles are decided by who gets PA off or who has IP up if both have any clue how to play their class. I would hope that as an assasin you would know that you have the ability to eliminate any buffs your enemy might have.........if you don't I'm sorry Im not tellin.

How can you possibly respect a class that's only goal is to either backstab you, or perf, dot n run.

Buffbots are destroying the assassin class, and have destroyed the archer class. You would know this if you had leveled Pido, but alas you ebayed him. You might understand the plight of the assassin if you had leveled Geas, but alas you bought him as well. Who buys multiple stealther accounts?

Before Epics, Before DF gear, Before level 10 weapons, and yes even before Buffbots were all the rage, there was this little nightshade that , during a Midgard siege of an Albion held Faste, managed to sneak in and PA the Keep Lord , temporarily claiming the keep for Hibernia....
His name was Gannondorf....
NOT
Also, Props to Woody, who never did the EXP grind in the early months, yet still went toe to toe with level 50s while blue or low yellow for a long long time.

P.S. For those who don't know yer Lancelot history, and before The Peck starts PM'ing me defaming my mother, the above mentioned shade was in fact Tyndal.
also, must give honorable mention to Hong, who would never give up, even after being killed sometimes 4 and 5 times by me and/or Tidus in a 2 hour period.

Very much a crit Ashmir.
My cap with the biggest slowest weapon I can find is 800ish but I rarely swap those in and my usual cap is 750ish. A crit on a max perf will add between 250-450 bonus dmg.
I'm at MOP II now so I'm at a theoretical 1/5 chance to crit (in practice you know how whacky runs of critting and fumbling can be)
But take heart, melee resists, even on a caster do bad things to assassins. For a while Isis (or was it Isleca) had max melee resists and the highest I could ever PA her for was 350.
