I've heard to many exhibs, saying pretty much all the same horror stories on how new players are treated in Hibernia, to discount them all. even some people who went from Albion to Hibernia to help them out, and came back again, have sid the same things. The attitude over there towards new players has got to change, or you will see now increase in your population, and only see it decline. Corse how you treat others is your perogative, just remeber that it has a profound affect on how those people view your realm.

such a case would be blatantly retarded because it would restrict things as obvious as limiting load on a full server. i know i called my lawyers when mordred was full on day 1.


do not confuse "mythic will not do X, with mythic can not do X."

Limiting a load on a full server, is TOTALLY different than tell people they can't play on a realm they chose to. That's a hardware issue, and other than upgrading it, nothign can be done about it.


And what, you actually expect me to keep records in my house about every lawsuit that has occured against companies because of things like this? Just turn on the news for about a month or two. Heck I've heard about some of them, and I barely even watch the weather reports! When I hear about them, I just toon it out, and move on with my life. To much suing for my tastes. to much bad news all around in fact.

the only possible case i can think if is miscelaneous dad recently tried to get little johny hooked on daoc and alb lance is full. he's too lazy to reroll to a non broken server/realm and sues instead. note: suiing != winning.


i'm perfectly willing to accept that mythic won't lock alb lancelot for legal reasons if you can point me to a case that would provide any legal basis for doing so.


until then, i'm leaning towards


1. they've realized that when people leave hib/mid and even alb lancelot... they don't cancel - they reroll. aka, from a business standpoint, it's a non issue.


2. there's a technological block of somesort... which i'm skeptical of unless that block consists of "wow coming out soon, need short term product to compete"


3. they're just stupid
