IMO a group of 8 players rolling 24 players can be very gratifying - at least all the times i've been engaged in such scenerios it has... But a group of 50 hibs killing 120-200 albs after a drawn out series of keep battles is not even close to as gratifying. Again, i've been present in both scenerios.

Especially considering that in all likelyhood, the alb swarm would prevail (as it almost always does, in the end). Why invest the time if you have no relics to defend in the first place? Zerg vs Zerg makes me want to log and go play Pong.

i'm not crying, haggai. just relishing the fact that everything i say goes over your head, as well as the heads of many of the other people here. if you don't think what happened today was unnecessary...well...i don't know what to say

Ah well, there is no question that I have the most fun in zerg fights where the fight is fairly even, or we overcome the odds (has happened maybe twice here in alb/lance) 24v24, or 30v50 is fun for me.


I guess that is simply a matter of opinion on what is entertainment. Or that the class I play isn't too great at the 8v8 . Much fun is had when I can actually flank a large group of people, sneak in and kill a caster, predict movement/casting, and the whole thing lasts longer than 10 sec.


Again, thats just me though.

Haggai, we understand that it is just a game but in this game there isn't a restart button, there are concquences for pullin sh@t like this off. Your not just piss'n off Hibs and ruin'n their game play but they have even less reason to rvr now, so even more fun for Albs right? Now you guys can just pharm keeps or try to take a Mid keep if you dare, sounds like a real blast to me.

What are you talking about? That was a personal observation, vlad, and i have always been all about doing exactly what i find entertaining and to hell with what i don't. As have many of my peers. And we all happen to be Hibs.


You could at least give examples when you go off on these open ended, shady tangents. It would make the process of shooting down your oft flawed logic proceed much more quickly.

Tell me vlad, what isn't cheesy... trying to brute force zerg a keep like albs have the ability to do, only to die to the alb's superior zerg before door 2 is down?

Pagielle: Think about what you are saying for second. You say that Albs never let us get that far if we tried to take all your keeps? We never tried. There would have been no point to doing something like that. To do so would have been just to break your stones and if Hibs ever did try something like that, I can assure you that none, zero of the top guilds at the time would have participated. Also, you make reference to the fact that Albs attacked the top dog (Hibs) when you had no relics. Well, no kidding. If you remember all of the RvR took place in emain, so of course we were going to be the target. Until December, a majority of Albs couldn't find their way around Alb's frontier, for heaven's sake. Most Albs knew emain and only emain, so that is where they always went. Do you deny this?


Vladimir: Not sure why I am responding to you but here I go again. Just think back to the days when people openly posted on these boards about laying off Mid because NO ONE wanted to break their spirit and run them off the server. Chew on that for a while before making your next smarmy remark.

how many times did you guys hit our MT relic keep up in snowdownia? 3 at least...and when we had to go after the relic guess where the money came from? MY GUILD


the reason my guild doesnt have a better house is b/c of that and im still bitter to the core...b/c if i had a better house i would feel more like a complete person and then i could actually face people in life and say hey im haggai from Lancelot and I have a nice villa in Albion but instead i have to say its just a house and im ashamed...

LOL, Haggai. The fact that your guild had to spend all that dough to fix those doors is more a statement about your realmmates than it is about Hib.


Yeah, it's just a game and that is why people are going to leave. Because once again when Alb gets on it high horse they have to go out and use numbers to prove a point and to hell with everyone else.
