If you're still here, I'll share the few drama moments of my life:
Abe’s drama:
I categorized Drama into A) Adventure and B) Women.
My best Adventure drama came in college. Getting all A’s in the environmental sciences got me in good standing with the professors and faculty. They gave me a set of keys to the Labs and buildings so I could keep up my research. Well, Ferrum was built in 1905. 3 of the original buildings are still standing. One of them is the church. The church basement doubles as the campuses art studios. But I found out the basement isn’t really the basement.
In the back of the art department were some storage boxes. While doing Black-n-white photography my senior year I found a door behind those boxes snooping around for more photo paper. The door led to the real basement of the church and I’m guessing it hadn’t been opened in 20 years. I confirmed that when I saw a calendar hanging in the basement dated 1982. The basement had in it some of the original maps/surveys of the land around the campus and some books that were hella old. The maps were the most interesting as they showed the location of 2 old iron mines and 1 natural cave in the area and 3 graves on campus (buried under the theater). I went looking for them. I’ll share that story later….
My best B) Women category.
Immediately after college I lived in an apartment with a high school friend of mine who was also graduated. A 21 year old gal named Elizabeth who was pseudo-wiccan. I say pseudo because I don’t think she actual did Covens but loved the goth theme stuff. I think these days you’d call her straight up emo. But whatever, I celebrate diversity.
I had a brief fling with a chick who picked me up at a country-western bar one weekend. The fling lasted 3 weeks and DAMN was it a ride. We broke up when she got mad at me one day and began breaking stuff. She called me over the next 3 days no less than 300x. My friends took turns entertaining themselves answering the phone. I vowed never to date a psycho chick ever again. The psycho chic did try to stalk me for a bit. My biggest ally was Elizabeth who helped me fend her off by clinging all over me in public.
