I really loved this plugin is it still around in some new guise or is there another plugin that can handle route finding among other things?

Yes, this would be a great one to have back although following the route to find out that it expects you to run across the sea can sometimes be rather annoying, still it was nice, you could use the navigation portion of tank, it does most of what you need, although I would like to see relative coords in tank

If I could only have 3 plugins, Oracle would be one of them, Bandit sight the 2nd and the 3rd would be a text/message filtration plugin.

Tank does too many things and as such it falls short for some of us. I absolutely hate how it tries to heal my mage during combat even when in buff only mode and the plug off. Separate is far superior to all in one systems IMO.

That has to be user error. ELTank CANT heal you in any mode if it's off.


Most people that dont like ELTank do so because of the stigma some have tried to attach to it, others havn't taken the time to learn how to use it properly. You'd be supprised at how many people who use it still dont know about the 'Pause' key on the keyboard working to stop/start it.

It could be very well being user error ElgarL. I have tried tank several times and the same problem has occurred I could not figure the problem out and un-install. I did not mean it as a personal or any sort of attack on your plug I don't like Einstein either if that s of any conciliation to you. I am not opposed to your macro in fact I was for some time in a chain that benefited from UMC before the COC change I just always liked NB better /shrug I had a list of plugs I liked before ToD. I suppose this old dog may either have to adjust or move on from AC since I don't have the skill to make my own plug and the ones I liked seem to no longer going to be available.

To the original poster....get something called "Dereth Explorer". It supports real time tracking of your toon on a map utility program much like "ACExploer".

I'm CERTAIN Eltank has caused my char to heal while it was in 'stopped' mode. Not only has it happened, but it has happened many times. It seems to be related to the bug where Eltank completely stops attacking creatures.

I wish Elnav was a tad more useable. When trying to route, it's hard to find the place you need to go (name wise), that is, of coruse, unless you know the coords. If we could type in a name and it would jump like oracle used to, that'd be great.

Although I've never had Tank try to heal me when turned off (in fact, that is often why I turn it off in a situation I know will be bad lag for me - I'm on dialup), sometimes it goes WAY past where I've told it I wish to be healed, and I end up either standing there healing forever as I'm under attack, or I die. Have my personal sliders set to about 50%, so am not sure what's going on there.


Every time I've tried to use the Nav portion to plot a route, it crashes the client. Not sure if it is just not happy with that on my system or what. It is a consistent crash though


My biggest peeve is that it will not seem to accept the fact that I have "automatically accept fellowship" turned OFF on my character panel, and it feels free to override this EVERY time I log on. It simply will NOT "remember" that I don't like to be autofellowed LOL.


I, too, would like to see Oracle resurrected - or at LEAST know how to read my favorites file. I don't know of a program that will allow me to get the .loc file open ... as it comes time for Turbine to stop paying rents, it becomes more important to me to get to that file - the cottage locations of my many allegiance members are there - as well as personal locations I've found to be of interest. Elgar - if you could put a way in to make Tank accept a "personal input" rather than something generated from the database, that would be great. Or, if it already can, please advise
