Why are all bots switching to castaway from tank? castaway doesnt bane like tank does, I was trying to become self sufficent now I will drop creature and life and spc item so I can bane self with 7's. Is it Maddy that you are just trying to change to game or don't know hoe to programme banes or just hate people and want to hurt their game plays.
Yay yaya ya I know get self sufficent but this is not the olympics this is a game and you have reduced my fun time. Not having banes - you really get ripped up more. Just my 2 cents - I know you are right and everyone else is wrong.
Additionally there is only seconds to set up an account with bot, you can't put in commands until 1st time you pay, if there is a line you literally have seconds to pay and set up an account, Then you are back at the end of the line anyway -

What is the issue with banes that you don't like? We do listen to suggestions on the Castaway dev team (I'm just the vocal member).

i think its the fact that he does not know how to tell the bot how to bane  |

I should point out Castaway doesn't do a lot of things like El Tank does, and for various reasonos. Mainly because that is how Once Bitten wanted to do it. The original intent for armor baning was for the bot to open the trade window, not the player (I just looked at the old source to verify this). So if that is the complaint, sorry about that.
We'll be making some changes to a how armor baning works on user feedback though.

Sneak in a paymeant while the bot is buffing, will create your account.

Castaway is much better than EL Tank.. it may take more time to set up the buffbot, but is (to me) a whole lot easier for the user to get buffs

It takes more time if you want to customize your spec/spells, but other then that click a button to set your default wand, enter your portals, and pretty much set to go for most people.

Another thing that some may not have even noticed yet Maddy is that we have expanded the self buffing profiles to include all of the "other" profiles that were only available to "bufee's" not the buffbot. This was done in response to user feedback. Many of the people using castaway wanted to be able to buff themselves with full profiles as well as be available to buff others while they were out hunting.
As a cop once told me when I told him I didnt realize I couldnt go 70 in a 30 zone. "Ingnorance of the Law is no excuse son"...If Tivee doesnt know how to use something, all they have to do is ask.
