Turn you back. Ya thats it.

Oh and don't buff.

Oh Oh, and don't weild a wand. That ticks them off. Use the carrot dagger instead.

Did I forget to mention you should yell the spell words as loud as you can at the monitor? Noise spooks them.

Last thing, most important too. Be at 300 burden. They can't sink their teeth in if your packed to the hilt with all your good loot.

Ok now to seriously answer your question, no. '

The option of setting specific spell types ( read as: walls, volleys, streak etc. ) would be nice.

You can ask on the El-Tank forums, worst that can happen is you get flammed.

Elgar is pretty cool, if he likes the idea, ( read as: it is worth it to him to program it in ), it will likely get added. If not, hey nothing lost.

Wait my bad, you probally won't get flamed there.

Better stay here where its nice and warm. There is always someone here ready to toss gas on you soon as you make a spark.

lol gg

plz go play ur melee now

It's true about ring spells . . . but I always found it somewhat amusing after seeing that stupid Shrek game on the XBox once . .. reminded me of his lethal, ahem, rear facing attack.

I didn't know that rings did more behind you.

I grew up in the age of "cover your back or die".

So I thought the reply was sarcasm, and in thinking so, added to it.

As for going to play my melee.....

I suppose I could do that. He's pissed off that he is 2 years older, but 30 levels lower than my mage.

Never mind me. I never did know how to play this flippin game. My first character was and is a 3 school melee. I spent the first few months of retail being told how foolish I was and how my character was perma-gimped. Its been mostly downhill from there.

Ihave killed 2 instaible eaters and injured like 6 or so more with 1 ring spell, can you do that with a volley or wall? no

I have never killed an olthoi ripper in 1 hit but i have used tusker fists wall in the pit room and done some nice damage compared to crushing shame.

I like to use pummeling storm somtimes, it does some nice damage when you have them all infront of you. kind rough to put them all behind you there for rings but i can ring them to death, doesnt seem to be affective cuz my melee is high enough, only about 480 + 41%

Actually the volley that shots 5 bolts in a spread does more damage then a single bolt or arc. On many critters, you will hit 3 times. With the new bonuses on wands, that means you are talking, in some cases, in excess of one thousand points a pop, total damage gathered from 330+ a pop. Plus you get extra hits on mobs surrounding the selected target.

But rings do often, almost always really, one hit anything directly behind you. I havn't seen a damage/crit report ever from a ring spell to a target behind me, so I have no idea what the maximum damage is. I suppose this could stand a test from the oak drudge
