yes lord, if you ask me, they are default paths....i used to be able to run acdc years ago pretty well...last year or 2 its only run long enough to Just swear to myself...after id get to the guy accepting the swear, the othe rguy was fried, and would log out...BUT, that was good enough, all i wanted to do was be able to swear or safe mule

eltank and muletrader are the only 2 i have enabled....make-it and DHS are Not enabled, even though they are listed

for the first error, it sounds like one or more of your .DAT files are set to "Read Only" check the properties on them (in both paths) and make sure that they are not.

i did notice...there were 4 .dat files in the original folder


and the '2' folder in that one, only had 3 .dat files... it was missing


'client_highres' which also notes that it is a .dat file

I haven't updated ACDualClient to copy the HI-RES dat files yet.


It's something I still need to do one of these days...


as for your issue, my only guess would be that somehow, your paths are not correct... my best guess would be to re-install Asheron's Call again, make a note of the installation path, then clear the paths in ACDualClient and restart it. When it starts up, make sure you enter the correct path for the Asheron's Call installation, and make sure you use the Basic mode. You should also leave most of the options set to their default values during the setup.


I don't know what else could cause those errors.
