for the life of me i can Not find the 'patch client' button


i get the 'you can Not run more than 2 accounts using the same client' schmeel ...so i looked up the faq and says to 'patch client' then copy files.....


'copy files' is there....but No 'patch client'


person ig said under 'options'....i looked Again....nothing there


help please

Extract it into both folders. Make sure that you copy all files from 1 Folder to the 2nd folder. Also make sure that you have the paths for each account set to the correct folder.

Umm.. don't do that


make sure ACDualClient is updated appropriately and then just make sure that Injection and the Dual Log patch are enabled in ACDualClient


the FAQ and Helpfile are very old and really need to be changed... I just lack the time to change them.

nope....i enabled all the copy files options...like a 7 minute download there


i dont know how to copy the error messages, but the gist of it was 'I cant run more than one account using the same client.exe.'


i removed all acdc things i could find...re-dl'd it....and still does the same as before


is it possible im dl'ing a wrong version? i downloaded from the front page of the site....but i noticed the old-style client download is still up there, which says its date is feb-05


is that maybe where im in the wrong?

Version 7.2.2 is correct.


Go into the Options and click Enable Injection


then on the Login tab, make sure the Dual Log checkbox is also enabled.


The last and final thing to check is to make sure you're using either the Login feature from ACDualClient, or the path that ACDualClient is pointing to is actually the correct path you're using (as it makes modifications to your Launcher.ini file)

inject and dualclient 'came' checked as default


i get one box that says...you cant open the files...something about needing permission to write to them


i close that, and next message is


i cant run 2 clients from ...i think...\program files\turbine\asherons call - throne of destiny\acclient.exe


the 2 paths i have are


1)program files\turbine\asherons call- throne of destiny

2)program files\turbine\asherons call- throne of destiny\2

Just to verify something...you have a directory under your normal install named simply "2" and have another copy of your AC in there?

CTRL+C will copy an error message and CTRL+V will paste it.


make sure you copy the exact errors and paste them in your reports so that I can better assist you.


While technically I do not believe the "cannot open files" error relates to the 2 clients running error, it would have been nice to know in order to possibly troubleshoot it and get the correct information figured out.


Uncheck Dual Log patch then Uncheck Enable Injection. Then put a checkmark in Enable Injection and finally put a check back in Dual Log.


If that still doesn't work, then make sure ACDualClient is running and post a Decal Export (open Decal and click Export).
