I bet this problem was also a high priority with the hotfix, and not just the wands.... but they had to use the wands as the excuse  hehe

I think it was related to the change they made to "prevent players from sending colored text" but it was also blocking their special, get thru any /filter or /squelch, +Envoy tells.
For instance, if you now try to send text like:
/cg cool some <Tell:IIDString:0:BlahBlah>Green Colored Text<\Tell>
It's now blocked.

that may be, but when you are standing around and waiting on an envoy, and still cant hear his /tells, then there is a problem somewhere.

I was in the EO for a little bit last night and an envoy appeared out of nowhere. I tried to follow the envoy around but they move so fast, but anyway the envoy was talking in open chat.

I think the problem is affecting their PM system on the AC forums too! I can't seem to read my reply from Frelorn, after 5 days of waiting ;-)

i didnt miss envoychat..it takes over and picks a channellike /a and will not chat anywhere else except in that challel untill i completle log off and relog.
also a chat thing it does even wile off is goes outta chat and starts the chat dance wile typing..like hit a hotkey or something and took it outta chat. i still think it is an awesome program and aam extreamly grateful...ty

It looks like the quietly fixed it in the HotFix. At least I've seen no more reports of missing Chat.
