I'm currently in progress of migrating some of my old projects over to .net 2.0 (with thanks to Microsoft for the free copy of VS.NET I got from them) and thought of a neat idea.
Attached to my machine is one of them new fangled Logitech G15 Keyboards. I've scoured the internet, and cannot find a G15 info display for AC. So, I want to work on making one. Basically, I'm trying to build an addon that (when a G15 is present) will send user specified information (including useful statistical information similar to that generated by Combater and so forth) to the G15's display, preventing you from HAVING to look at it if you don't want to. In the absense of the display, the output will be sent to the chat window as normal.
Now since I had originally intended to remarket old combater, and someone else now handles that (hey, I'm not out to steal someone else's thunder) I need a new name... and some ideas of what sort of information is useful to see. If you'd like to chip in your ideas, you can either reply here or post at my company forums.

Decal based "Chest Looter". Something that would detect a chest within a radius of x, if you have a loose key, use it, if not, then check keyrings and remove a key, then completely empty a chest, then drop on the ground any "junk" (ie potions, mana stones ... maybe, known scrolls) and automatically salvage everything else that does not meet certain "levels" (ie Majors, etc).

That wasn't quite the type of idea that I was thinking of, but it's still interesting so I'll take it on board

No, as a Microsoft Partmer program member, I was invited to attend the Connect Launch Tour and was issued a free mouse, pen, pad, Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, and Virtual Server 2005.
Tip of the day here is to alsways look hard at Microsoft events you get invitations to

I did that and I got a free full version of Windows ME. How useful!

Kalt, for now I have been re-doing Combater as Combater 2, but if you want it back, I can zip up what I've done so far, and get that off to ya. It's all in C# now, using the codeless views, etc.
Either way, just let me know.
