After seeing so many posts I could not possibly count them,

asking for an Anti-Idle out Plug-in, I had a few minutes to throw on togeather a few days ago.


YES, the name(An Inside #ACDEV Joke) was inspired by Drakier Although Easter is almost here





Features:


Server Population on Login

Option to eat RED STATUS Messages

Anti Idle Logout

Log Out on Death


Play sound File on Death which can be replaced with a .wav file of choice


THIS PLUG-IN WILL NOT KEEP ELTANK RUNNING!

That would be a UCM aid.


I am not sure if any more features will be added, but you can make suggestions.

I will try to keep it updated with the newest release of Decal.

Please let me know if it works out OK of if you find any bugs.

How exactly is keeping El Tank running a 'UCM aid' ?

Chazcon.. he meant plugins which allow the Anti-Idle timer in ELTank to be bypassed would be an aid to UCM... so his plugin does not help to bypass the timer in case people were considering using it for that purpose.


the Anti-Idle timer in ELTank is there to prevent it from being run unattended by making sure that it can only be run in 5 minute increments rather than DAYS at a time. Some plugins in the past have been known to bypass the timers to ELTank, thus becoming solely used for that purpose.


This plugin is not one of those.


and thanks for the props there FX. =] As soon as I saw the title, I had a feeling it was related to that.

Why would anyone want to make an eltank anti-idle plugin when there is already a perfectly good one on the Sucamarto site?


I'm sure there is a reason but why would I need a sound on death unless, of course, I was UCMing?

You say that like it is a bad thing.


I mean, it's your plugin and you can do what you want, but the notion of somehow if people don't keep ElTank alive, UCMing will go away is getting to the point of absurdity.


There are plenty of ways to keep it alives ... assuming that the "hard core" UCMers use ElTank ... and they don't. Let's face reality, if it wasn't for UCMing, Turbine would close down AC because another 50% of their subscriptions would vanish.


It still amazes me the energy put into trying to stop ElTank from being used in a certain way.

I look it as people helping El Garl to make sure Tank is used in the manner he has siad he wants it used.
