when i turn on decal i get this:

One or more of your XML files were not found!

Please click the update button to ensure that Decal works correctly!


then i click 0k


Then it doesn't update my files then i have all red checks


and then i downloaded the current Direct X and current decal, restarted comp and still doesn't work...


Then when i click update files:


Download Failed.

Invailed syntax


Then i click ok.

Error:

Could not obtain updatelist.xml. Cannot Update- Hosting server down?


then i click ok.

DenAgent:

Decal component update failed!


then i click ok.


Just a side note: I have admin access on comp

2 of the MAIN places to look for Decal Information.

The exact same thing happened to me. I went to the decal website (www.decaldev.com) and ran the program called "DecalUtil" from the downloads. It works fine, now.

You run decalutil before decal it updates decal for you (do not hit update from decal after that or it wont work).

If you already have the framework installed, then you need to make sure you SAVE DecalUtil.exe to your Decal folder, and do NOT attempt to "run" it from the server... choose the "Save" option, or right-click the link and choose the "Save Target As" option or similar from the menu.

So i don't think i did this right..

I clicked the DecalUtil button, clicked save, went to desktop folder,program folder, decal, opened it, saved decalutil in.. clicked ok, it made a ping sound, and then i checked that folder and it's there, do i have to run it or something? cuz i still get the same errors with decal..
