I've got no issue with Chaz's position at all. Unfortunately it appears that most UCMers think that high xp dungeons such as Fiun, Eaters, PotB and EO are not 'popular spots'


I've decided to quit fighting them and just join them. Get in their fellow, find a nice safe corner to *afk* at, then go watch a movie. That way I'm working just as hard as they are for the xp...AND not breaking the rules

turbines rules state that if you are in the fellow gaining xp, you are subject to testing, and IF you fail the test, you are UCM and can get banned. With or without a program macroing, you are ucm if you fail the test.. Its the same reason you cant put a 275 mage in holding who can evade everything and use him as a buff bot.. TECHnically you are getting xp from the evades and subject to the test..

Shiba, you are wrong, the rules state if you are in a spot where monsters can attack you, then you are subject to a test.


Sitting AFK in a fellow in a safe spot is no a CoC violation.


Nice try at trying to make up your own version of the CoC.

It was stated on the VN dev board by IBN, as well as on turbines boards awile back.. IF you are gaining xp, you are subject to a test, and can be banned.

You MUST be in some form of combat to be subjected to a test. That could simply be a drudge trying to get to you or targeting you with a spell, but if you affect the creatures in any way then you are liable to be tested.


Sitting in a safe spot of a dungeon leaching is not subject to a test, so long as NO monsters can see or target you and you cast no spells at them.

I thought even if they could see you and target you but couldn't actually cause you to evade or resist (which would give you xp), then you were safe. I used to run Bots R Us a buff bot in Tusker Holding as he would stand on the statue heads (before they were intangible). Of course some tuskers would attempt to kill him, but because they couldn't actually hit me (with phsyical attacks or spells), I was safe from bannage.


As for the original question:


1. LifeTank can kill and log on death, log on loss of comps, log on player detections, etc.

2. Quack can keep you in game if idle and log you out on death (good with ELTank I guess). It wont prevent ELTank from turning off if no keys are pressed though. It's also listed as a discontinued plugin at Suca's so I'm not sure how well it works.

3. For you hardcore ELTank'ers, you should really just use ACTool. It's pretty easy to learn to code in, and the amount of options you could build yourself is limitless. Log on death, log on low comps, log on player detection (add a friends list), keep ELTank alive, log if Asheron @tells you that you suck, etc.
