To my understanding all the bandit plugins are now dead unless Falie decides to come back or release the source code.

With the new ranks of officers, it may be easy enough to have a mule account run it for ya. The bad thing about Treestats and Meginjarder, is that it only has the allegiance tree info for anyone that is running the plugin, and their direct patron/vassals. It can create a spotty allegiance tree, but it won't be complete unless every charecter logs in and updates.

I made such a plugin about half a year ago and recently posted the source here on the boards. It can pretty much scan your entire tree automatically and save the results to an XML file.


I created an installer for the plugin, you can download it at http://direlands.net/gawa/allegiancescanner/

Let me know if you need any help using it.. you'll pretty much wish to use the following commands:


@alls newtree <character name> => create a new tree for the specified character

@alls start => start scanning

@alls stop => stop scanning

@alls save <filename> => save tree to the specified file.


This should give you an idea of what it does. Other useful functions are loading a tree from a saved file (to resume scanning) and autosaving, to avoid losing work when something crashes.

Another option... if you have 3 people setup to do scanning.. and you have 3 vassals under the monarch, who have a ton of people under them.. scan starting at the vassals. A scan of 5000+ members, broke down by 1000, with 3 people scanning would take quite a bit less.

However a couple of questions,Ive noticed there is a 26 second pause between requests,I assume that's to stop you getting banned for chat spamming.

Is that length neccessary? I'm currently running it for the Legends monarchy currently 15995 characters and I've worked out I will have to run this for roughly 5 days until completion, is there a command that would lower the pause rate and would that be recommended?

There's a 30 second timer on querying the server about /allegiance info's. Trying to ask any more often and you get back a message that you must wait xx seconds.

Yes, and the plugin waits approximately 31 seconds between requests, as I was sometimes having trouble when I had it set to 30. The plugin takes about 5 seconds for a single request, leaving a waiting period of 26 seconds between requests.
