i believe there used to be a program that was a tool to make an allegiance tree.

is there still? or possible something easy to make that would help make a tree without having to do it manually by using the /allegiance info command on every member

I don't think it would be really possible without either:

1) requring at least most of the users to run a plugin which could "Fit them in" to the tree in their appropriate place.

.. you have to remember that each person has a Patron, and Vassals (which can be Zero or More). That allows you to at least make SOME connection down the tree

or

2) do allegiance info on the users to create a full listing of them.

or

3) create a site where the users go themselves to input their name, patron, and vassals. Then you can use the input data to link subtrees together.

*shrug* either way.. good luck! I don't know of any plugins currently functional that do Allegiance Mapping unless TreeStats does it or something.

does Bandit Monarch work?

last I checked, all "Bandit" plugins were dead... and Faile had no interest in fixing them to work post-ToD.

Treestats has all the necessary info for every char that uses it and a working client already out there. If the code that used to compile an "xp chain" could be modified a bit to make a "tree" of all memebers of a given monarchy, that seems like more or less what we want right there. Now whether the author has the time or inclination to DO that is a totally seperate issue hehe, but it's probably the only realistic chance of getting such functionality anytime soon, if ever.

Ive done this manually before for my allegiance, and it took several days tika.. I would never attempt it manually ROFL - i still have most of my tree, so that would cut the work down for you LOL Maybe someone can update bandit monarch? LOL

Nice thing about Bandit was it didn't require people to go to any site etc.

I'd like to see it come back to life.

I thought the way I read it was waiting till Decal settled out and then would look at what was needed.

Put me down as one who thinks this is a missing plugin that needs to be "found".
