Why would you run both at once? I'm sure they'd conflict with each other and it'd be VERY laggy.
If you mean having both installed, then that should be no problem.
I used to have both loaded up, but then would only use ElTank in "buff only mode" to run my characters into position at PotB or EO, then stop Tank and fire up LifeTank once I got where I should be. My one major gripe with LifeTank (and maybe I'll learn something now, after the fact) was that once you turned it on, it never checked if you had time left on your buffs, it would just rebuff you blindly. If you hit "Pause" then it would mind your buff times, but if you were running past monsters, it wouldn't keep you healed (like ElTank).
Hence why I said what I said about "ElTank is better if you run around, but LifeTank is better if you are stationary."

Para is the secret love child of Mithan and Homer, with a dash of Kestrel thrown in for good measure.

Arch, That is something I've thought about bringing up as something to fix... Not sure how hard it would be but I've always wanted it to base your buffs off real time too. Technically what it does now isn't really "blind" I guess, but when I start tank and want to go somewhere, I usually force rebuff first and as long as I don't stop the plugin it'll always remember to buff.
But yeah, kinda annoying. I still haven't forgotten tho =)

The one thing I wish LT would get is a "loot/item/whatever" pop-up window.

What do you mean, like a Detection window that pops up when it finds something? (Corpses, Loot on Corpse, Monsters, etc?)
It has a simple detection method in it already, but I would like it to do this as well (to expand on it).
Right now we're working on cleaning up the code, fixing some long time bugs, and adding one or two simple features. I'd like to make the plugin itself more efficient before adding a large addition such as this first. Lifetank already uses a good bit of resources, so does Decal and Ac; hense the frequent crashes some people experience. Hopefully improvements in Decal and on our side will allow us to add something like this soon.

That's what I meant Crelic
LT is an awesome plugin but it would be a luxary to be able to have a pop-up window for designated items. I stopped using ElTank long ago and the pat I miss about it the most is ElTrack.

Yeah, I've seen this request multiple times and it's something we'll look into. However, as C'relic said, our focus is on other things at the moment.

Im not sure how El Tank does things but...
With LTx, I prefer it this way.
open LTx, force buff, and then turn it on. Continuous buff 59/2 (mage) or 58/5 (archer or melee) means I don't have to worry about anything running out, and still be always have all the buffs/banes I need. If I dun force buff all my buffs, I will run out of a buff before it's refreshed.
