uhmm. cant have latest drivers, running a GeForce II Ultra, they stopped supporting them around 72.somthing. im running 71.84 right now.


the newest 91.wahtever say i dont have any hardware that these drivers support installation will quit.

In that case you might be as good as you're gonna get.


My 2k3 server machine is for my buffbot, so I don't change toons very often on it. If it's an option, you might not want to use the server as your main machine.

im not, just using it for muling, but i think i found a fix


i installed XP pro as well. haha so when i dont need my server running i'll just boot to XP and use that, blah. i still dont know if that works yet tho, it could just be the card is to old or somthing drivers dont work with DX9. they should tho

I run AC fine on my 2k3 server. However, I have a GeForce FX5600 or something like that. The one change that I had to make was right click on desktop, go to properties, settings, advanced, troubleshoot, then slide that bar all the way to the right.


I am constantly switching charecters in and out, because I too use it for muling.

hmm errord out on the DX 9 test. 8 and 7 uhmm....worked? lol not quite the correct term but they didnt kil my computer like the 9 test did. dont remember the error. wanted to reboot and send MS a report.


long error with a hex string in it. I wonder if some of the memory on the card is bad? could be eh?


o i just need newer drivers. not sure, currently running 71.84. its the latests i could find that support the Geforce II ultra. blah.

so when it changes syncs or res the screen goes black the light starts flashing and this will last from 10 - 300 seconds. sometimes longer. when exiting AC it never came back i rebooted at 12 minutes. very irritating, OH this is in XP now. i thought it may have been OS related. its not.

installed 67.66 drivers and it works fine. well the DX tests do anyway. havnt played AC yet, but im assuming since i didnt ahve anyproblems with the tests it will be ok. heh stupid trying to find "new" drivers that work. lol

so thoes didnt work either. i was going to say forget it and let MS use its own drivers. but the drivers it used were forceware 45.23 and they work. haha. so yah. work for AC and all the DX tests.


i guess this card just isnt supportd or something. strange
