Magus, usually what Decal devs say is that you should have programming experience before trying to write Decal plugins; Decal is not a good platform for learning programming.


Also, maybe the sentiment you got is that other devs don't like to spoon-feed information to people -- rather than saying, "tell me how to write a plugin," say something like, "I've tried this and I'm stuck here, can you help?" Also, search for the answer to your question on the forums and google before asking.

I don't know if there is a biological difference between men and women coding..


there are altering theories behind the inner workings of the Male and Female mind... I'm not going to even speculate if any of them are accurate, but it would make sense why there aren't nearly as many women in Computer Science as there are men.


That being said, I know quite a few female coders who are really good at what they do.. (eg: Zyrca, srand).

I've met srand.. I spent a whole afternoon with the whole AC:ToD dev/test team. I've met Jessica, srand, Ibn, Crowley, etc.


I think you're referring to Jessica kinslayer... not srand.
