Anyone having trouble with Alinco properly detecting gems or axes should grab the latest version.

The latest version does have some bugs fixes in it :-)

Latest features/bugfixes:

bugfix: detecting gems as the first item in the rules list where the workmanship did match

bugfix: not id'ing axes

Added a simple xslt file for the inventory xml

You can search for items on your other characters/mules

You can assign an item to a NPC so you can use it to give items to the npc with a hotkey, works with all kind of trophies but also with pyreals to the Town Crier.

Losado, thanks for the new version! I noted the new filter restored the buffs to the buffing section, but it will not cast - is there something else needing to be done? Or is it borked for good?

I've noticed some intermittent problems with looting and salvaging. For a while it insisted on usting every piece of silver separately, even though it is set for 1. It also did the same for gold, but it looted other salvages and usted them correctly. It stopped doing that after a while.


Then it refused to loot corpses. It identified everything in it, but wouldn't loot. After manual looting it would not then salvage either. Turning Alinco off and then back on sometimes would fix it. This was after it worked fine for an hour or so.


Anybody else notice problems?

I have never been able to "auto-loot" with alinco if that means it opening corpses as well. It does however work fine if I open a corpse, it will scan it, find something and pick it up.

Sometimes (rarely) the auto-loot/auto-ust routine will get out of whack if I'm trying to type something while Alinco is picking things up off a corpse. I think it has something to do with losing the focus of the chat window (where I'm typing) when the Ust is automatically opened. I just make a point not to type while Alinco is doing its thing and all is well.

Also, if you pick up that treasure pile from Ulgrim's basement Alinco will repeatedly try to ust it if you are set up to salvage gold even though it's not an ustable item. I assume it's because the item is gold and has a workmanship of 10.


Here is how I use the Auto-Loot/Auto-Ust features and I almost never have trouble with it unless I'm trying to type while it's doing it's thing.


1. Bind a key to Open Closest Unopened Corpse.

2. Set Alinco Auto-Loot and Auto-Ust options to On.

3. Kill stuff.

4. Hit the key I bound in step 1.

5. Wait for Alinco to grab the stuff and auto-salvage it.

6. Repeat step 4 and 5 until there are no more corpses.


Works like charm for me.

Has the seperate buff program been updated for alpha 8? the one with casting stein support.

Just ran across something else that will cause the Auto-Loot feature to stop working. If a corpse decays while you are looting from it then the Auto-Loot feature will not work until you remove the items that were still on the corpse when it decayed (and therefore no longer exist) from the Alinco items list. After you right-click and remove them from the list everything starts working again.

I think I've tracked down the problem.


Clicking the auto loot button on and off gives you a count of the available slots. This number seems to be decreasing with time. I had 24 free slots in my main pack and Alinco said I had 2 free slots. I log out and back in and it now says I have 22 slots.


Any idea how to fix this?
