If you'd read my post, you'd see I was asking for an explanation of why this is an important feature to you. If that wasn't clear, now I've spelled it out. I have read this thread. I do understand that people like the feature. I just don't get why and I'm curious. I never said that the feature was valueless, and perhaps if you'd explain your reasoning, I might even come to your way of thinkin'. But nope, you have to call me a closed-minded arse...


Anyway, I'd love to hear the appeal! Honest. I don't get it, and I want to get it!

For those having trouble with buffing you have to have a wand in the weapons list. Click the wand and then click the add button and it should be good to go.

Requesting a bit of help here please.


I have used ALinco for a while with no problems. Upgraded to the lastest version and now I no longer get a list of corpses to loot. Notify corpses is on. What am I doing wrong? Also, how does one use auto-loot and is there a way to turn it on/off?

Great plug in so far as I can see so far at least. To the person asking about auto looting, you turn that on in the options panel. Once turned on, you are absolutely right as it will auto empty those items you have programmed in if you open a corpse no matter where or what is attacking you.


Seems to me a few people who post here may not even know how to spell sleech let alone hunt them and therefore have little understanding of the dangers of standing around looting prematurely let alone automatically. Beyond that, seeing that particular feature added saddened me.


Should more auto this and auto that aspects be added I'd have to abandon it on principle. Sure hope the dev thinks long and hard before facilitating anything that comes close to helping lame gamers lame better. They have had an unfettered 6 year run here and that’s plenty enough of those kinds of plug ins. hehe

If auto-looting is turned off, is there any way to still get a list of corpses so you can manually loot them?

Arittela - I had to edit the settings.XML file in notepad to turn on the pop up box. It is one of the first few lines, you have to change "FALSE" TO "TRUE"
